We were delighted to be nominated by The Lea Singers as beneficiary of the retiring collection at their concert, Choral Discoveries on the 5th November. The choir, directed by new conductor Benjamin Kirk, performed for a large and enthusiastic audience who all enjoyed the variety and quality of the programme.
Brigid Brennan, parishioner and Chairman of HCCC, gave a talk to the audience at the start of the concert about the work of the Centre. The magnificent sum of £370 was donated by the audience.
It was a highly successful evening with the Lea Singers continuing with their impressive record of supporting local Charities and good causes.
