This Easter, we were delighted to receive a generous donation of Easter eggs from
St. James’s Wealth Management Charitable Foundation, which we were able to share with several local charities and community groups across Hertfordshire, Luton, and beyond.
We gave out 24 chocolate eggs during our Easter HCCC contact session, where children and their families greatly appreciated the thoughtful gifts. The remaining eggs we distributed across a number of wonderful local charities in our community.
We began by delivering 24 eggs to the residents of Dorant House Almshouses in St Albans, a long-established charity providing safe and supportive accommodation for older people in the community. The residents – including Malcolm, Anne, Barbara and Marion – were thrilled to receive their treats and join in the Easter celebrations.
We then distributed over 60 eggs to Keystage Housing, a supported housing organisation based in Luton that works to help individuals experiencing homelessness rebuild their lives. Their team provides vital, person-centred support to help people move towards a more stable and positive future.
The remaining eggs were donated to Luton All Women’s Centre, an inspiring organisation supporting women and girls across Bedfordshire. Their wide-ranging services empower individuals to lead safer, healthier, and more independent lives.
We are incredibly grateful to St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation and St. James’s Place for their generosity. Their donation has helped bring joy to many people in our community this Easter.
On behalf of HCCC and all the organisations who benefited, we extend our heartfelt thanks.
